Supergrass

Supergrass is an English rock band formed in Oxford in 1993. The band consisted of Gaz Coombes (lead vocals, guitar), Mick Quinn (bass, backing vocals), Danny Goffey (drums), and Rob Coombes (keyboards). Known for their energetic and youthful sound, Supergrass emerged during the Britpop era, making a significant impact with their debut album, *I Should Coco*, in 1995. The album included the hit single "Alright," which became an anthem of the era and showcased their blend of punk, pop, and rock elements. Following their initial success, Supergrass released a series of critically acclaimed albums, including *In It for the Money* (1997) and *Supergrass* (1999), solidifying their presence in the music industry. Their sound evolved over the years, incorporating more sophisticated and experimental elements while retaining their trademark vitality. Despite their disbandment in 2010, Supergrass left a lasting legacy with their distinctive style and high-energy performances. In 2019, they reunited for a series of live shows, celebrating their unique contribution to the 1990s music scene and beyond. Supergrass remains highly regarded for their catchy melodies, dynamic rhythms, and the enduring spirit of their music.
