Roni Size & Reprazent is a groundbreaking drum and bass collective led by the influential producer and DJ Roni Size. Formed in Bristol, England, in the mid-1990s, the group played a pivotal role in bringing drum and bass to mainstream audiences. The collective's innovative fusion of live instrumentation with electronic beats redefined the genre, marrying jazz, funk, hip-hop, and soul influences with the high-tempo, breakbeat-driven sound of drum and bass. Roni Size, born Ryan Owen Granville Williams in 1969, emerged as a key figure in the UK's electronic music scene. In 1997, Roni Size & Reprazent released their debut album, "New Forms," which became an instant classic.
