Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons is a British folk rock band formed in 2007 in London. The band consists of members Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, drums), Ben Lovett (keyboards, piano, vocals), and Ted Dwane (bass, drums, vocals). Former member Winston Marshall (banjo, guitar) departed the band in 2021. Known for their energetic and dynamic performances, Mumford & Sons quickly rose to prominence with their debut album, "Sigh No More," released in 2009. The album, featuring hits like "Little Lion Man" and "The Cave," earned critical acclaim and international success. Their follow-up album, "Babel," released in 2012, solidified their place in the music industry, winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The band is characterized by their fusion of folk, rock, and bluegrass elements, creating a distinctive sound often centered around acoustic instruments and passionate vocal harmonies. Mumford & Sons continued their musical evolution with albums such as "Wilder Mind" in 2015, which showcased a shift towards a more electric sound, and "Delta" in 2018.
