Lou Rhodes

Lou Rhodes is an English singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the trip-hop duo Lamb. Born on November 1, 1964, in Manchester, England, Rhodes grew up surrounded by music, which significantly influenced her artistic journey. In 1996, she formed Lamb with producer Andy Barlow. The duo quickly gained recognition for their unique fusion of electronic beats with Rhodes's haunting, soulful vocals. Lamb released a series of acclaimed albums, with hits like "Górecki" and "Gabriel" that have garnered a devoted fan base internationally. Beyond her work with Lamb, Rhodes embarked on a successful solo career, releasing her debut solo album, "Beloved One", in 2006. This album showcased her ability to craft introspective, folk-influenced songs that were a departure from Lamb's electronic sound, earning her a nomination for the Mercury Prize.
