Lanterns on the Lake

Lanterns on the Lake is an English indie rock band originating from Newcastle upon Tyne, formed in 2007. Known for their atmospheric sound that blends elements of rock, folk, and ambient music, the band has garnered acclaim for its lush arrangements and emotive performances. The core members include Hazel Wilde (vocals, guitar, and piano), Paul Gregory (guitar and production), and Oliver Ketteringham (drums). The band self-released two EPs before signing with Bella Union, a well-regarded independent record label, in 2010.
