Gomez
Gomez is a British indie rock band formed in 1996 in Southport, England. The group consists of five members: Ian Ball (vocals, guitar), Ben Ottewell (vocals, guitar), Tom Gray (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Paul Blackburn (bass), and Olly Peacock (drums, synths). Known for their eclectic sound that blends elements of rock, blues, and folk, Gomez quickly gained recognition with their debut album "Bring It On" released in 1998. The album won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, propelling the band into the spotlight. In the years following their debut, Gomez released several acclaimed albums, including "Liquid Skin" (1999) and "In Our Gun" (2002), showcasing their versatility and ability to craft rich, layered musical landscapes.
