Friendly Fires

Friendly Fires is an English indie pop band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, in 2006. The band consists of Ed Macfarlane (vocals, bass), Edd Gibson (guitar), and Jack Savidge (drums). Known for their energetic performances and a sound that blends elements of indie rock, dance-punk, and electronic music, Friendly Fires quickly gained recognition with their self-titled debut album, released in 2008. The album featured hits like "Paris" and "Jump in the Pool," and received critical acclaim for its catchy melodies and vibrant production. Their sophomore album, "Pala," released in 2011, continued to explore tropical and electronic influences, further establishing the band's distinctive sound. Tracks like "Live Those Days Tonight" showcased their ability to craft anthemic and danceable tunes.
