Elbow
Elbow is a British alternative rock band formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1997. The band comprises lead vocalist Guy Garvey, keyboardist Craig Potter, guitarist Mark Potter, bassist Pete Turner, and drummer Richard Jupp, who was with the band until his departure in 2016. Known for their rich, orchestral sound and poignant lyrics, Elbow has carved a unique niche in the music scene over the years. Their debut album, "Asleep in the Back," released in 2001, garnered critical acclaim and set the stage for their steady ascent in the music industry. Their breakthrough came with the release of their fourth studio album, "The Seldom Seen Kid," in 2008, which won the prestigious Mercury Prize.
