Ed Harcourt

Ed Harcourt is an English singer-songwriter and musician, born Edward Henry Richard Harcourt-Smith on August 14, 1977, in Wimbledon, London. He emerged on the music scene with his solo debut EP, "Maplewood," in 2000, following his earlier work as a member of the short-lived band Snug. His first full-length album, "Here Be Monsters," released in 2001, earned critical acclaim and was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize.
