Django Django
Django Django is a British art rock band formed in London in 2009. The group consists of four members: Vincent Neff (vocals and guitar), David Maclean (drums and production), Jimmy Dixon (bass), and Tommy Grace (synths). David Maclean, the band's producer, is the brother of John Maclean, a member of The Beta Band, and this connection hints at Django Django's experimental roots. The band gained widespread attention with their self-titled debut album released in 2012, which was a critical success and featured the hit single “Default.” Their music is often noted for its eclectic sound, blending elements of psychedelic rock, electronic, and pop, characterized by intricate harmonies and innovative production techniques. Django Django's subsequent albums, including "Born Under Saturn" (2015), "Marble Skies" (2018), and "Glowing in the Dark" (2021), continued to showcase their penchant for genre-blending and inventive soundscapes. The band's experimental approach and adventurous spirit have earned them a dedicated following and acclaim from critics, solidifying their status as a distinctive force in the contemporary music scene. Through constant innovation, Django Django remains a dynamic contributor to the art rock genre.
