Biffy Clyro

Biffy Clyro is a Scottish rock band formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, in 1995. The group consists of Simon Neil (lead vocals, guitar), James Johnston (bass, backing vocals), and Ben Johnston (drums, backing vocals). Initially known for their complex and energetic post-hardcore sound, Biffy Clyro evolved into a more polished alternative rock style that earned them mainstream success. The band released their debut album, *Blackened Sky*, in 2002, which established a loyal fanbase. With each subsequent release, including *The Vertigo of Bliss* (2003) and *Infinity Land* (2004), Biffy Clyro refined their sound and grew in popularity. Their breakthrough came with the 2007 album *Puzzle*, which featured hit singles like "Living Is a Problem Because Everything Dies" and "Machines." Their commercial success continued with albums such as *Only Revolutions* (2009), featuring hits like "Mountains" and "Many of Horror," and *Opposites* (2013), which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Known for their dynamic live performances, Biffy Clyro has become a major name in the UK rock scene and continues to enjoy a significant international following. Their experimental spirit and anthemic hooks make them a distinctive force in contemporary rock music.
