Apache Indian

Apache Indian, born Steven Kapur on 11 May 1967 in Handsworth, Birmingham, England, is a British reggae DJ and singer known for his unique fusion of bhangra, reggae, and dancehall music. Of Indian descent, Apache Indian gained prominence in the early 1990s with his innovative sound that blended Indian musical elements with contemporary reggae. His breakthrough came with the release of "Don Raja" in 1993, which showcased his distinctive style and earned him international acclaim. Apache Indian's most famous hit, "Boom Shack-A-Lak," released in 1993, became a global anthem, featuring in films, advertising campaigns, and sporting events.
